Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix projects remain in limbo. According to Page Six sources, the question of concluding an agreement with the streaming service is still open.

In August 2023, the Sussexes announced that their media company, Archwell Productions, would produce a film based on Carly Fortune’s popular book, Meet Me by the Lake. Netflix paid around $3 million for the rights to the novel.
But nearly three years later, the project is still in development, with no director or cast, casting doubt on the deal’s success.
Three years of development for a film like this is a red flag, a well-placed Hollywood source said.

In September, the Sussexes also announced a film adaptation of Jasmine Guillory’s novel The Wedding Date. However, this project is still in development at Netflix.
