Irina Gorbacheva shared a candid story about her journey to a new relationship with her body and food. The actress admitted that for a long time, despite various attempts, she couldn’t get her weight off the ground. Finally, she decided to take the issue seriously and consulted a team of specialists: a nutritionist, a gynecologist, and an endocrinologist.
The key is understanding your body’s unique characteristics. Irina, according to her, has been experiencing menopause since age 23, which affects her metabolism, causes calcium leaching, and increases the risk of osteoporosis. Those extra 13 kg are especially hard on the joints when you have to move a lot during rehearsals and performances.

Under the guidance of specialists, the actress developed a comprehensive plan: she included regular training, established a diet and sleep schedule, adjusted her diet – excluded sweets, dairy products and gluten, and began taking an appetite control drug.
Gorbacheva speaks honestly about the difficulties: cravings for sweets and starchy foods sometimes It feels almost like withdrawal. But she learns new behavior patterns:
I’m from the generation where eating disorders are common. Like many others, I was forced to finish my food as a child… Now I’m learning to feel full and tell myself “stop.”
Irina, who will turn 38 next month, emphasizes that only now is she developing a caring attitude towards her body – without violence, relying on doctors and science.
