Brad Pitt returned to work just two weeks after the tragic death of his mother Jane Etta Pitt. The actor is already hard at work on his new film, The Adventures of Cliff Booth. Brad’s character Cliff Booth first appeared in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood and immediately became a favorite with audiences. It is known that Pitt took a break due to his mother’s death, filming a spin-off.

The actor’s mother Jane died on August 5 at the age of 84. The tragic news has shocked the entire family: Jane is survived by her husband, William Pitt, three children: Doug, Julie, Brad, and 14 grandchildren.
Jane, who was affectionately known as Grandma, loved to honor each grandchild with a special tradition called “Your Special Day,” Brad’s family wrote in their obituary. “These precious moments remain some of the fondest memories for all 14 of her grandchildren.”
Brad and his ex-wife Angelina Jolie have six children: Maddox, 24, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and 17-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. The actor rarely talks about his parents, but he did mention that Jane was a fan of the Today show.
“I have to say hi to my mom, because she watches it every morning,” he told Today host Savannah Guthrie. “Jane Pitt. Love you, Mom.
