55-year-old Charisma Carpenter rose to fame playing Cordelia Chase in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. At first, her character was an arrogant, narcissistic egotist, but over time, the character evolved and migrated to the spin-off Angel about Buffy’s lover. Now Charisma reveals whether Cordelia will return in the upcoming grand reboot of the cult project.
I am not involved in the “reboot.” I am not in the pilot. I do not even know if the series has been renewed. But now I’m guessing that it is,” the actress shared on social media.
Carpenter noted that the title of her new podcast, “The B-tch is Back,” has nothing to do with the Buffia reboot, although fans did see an Easter egg in it in the style of Taylor Swift.
“It wasn’t meant to sound like a coded message hinting that I was admitting to being in the reboot,” Charisma denied the speculation. “People started commenting, ‘Oh, you mean you’re coming back? ’ As if it were some kind of Taylor Swift Easter egg. Not at all.” At this point, I haven’t had any talks with anyone to play Cordelia.
In the following video message, Charisma imagined what she would do if she did return to play Cordelia.

I wouldn’t tell you because I’d probably be embargoed and not be allowed to say anything about it at all. So I’d definitely keep it a secret, she said with a wink.
Filming on the new Buffy the Vampire Slayer has already begun. And last week, the first footage from the set with the leading actress Sarah Michelle Gellar appeared in the public domain.
