Julia Roberts admitted she was scared before meeting Chloë Sevigny on the set of Luca Guadagnino’s thriller.
“I was so excited and scared about meeting Chloë,” said 57-year-old Roberts. “And when we were at my house, we were all sitting at the kitchen table, my daughter Hazel was making herself lunch. We were discussing the material and rehearsing. Our producer, Allan Mandelbaum, came in and said, ‘Chloë should be here in a couple of minutes.’ I told Luca, ‘I’m scared.'”
In the interview, Roberts also admitted that Sevigny even brought her to tears. According to Julia, she could not hold back her tears when Chloe began to praise her.

Sevigny highly praised Roberts’s work – the films Notting Hill and My Best Friend’s Wedding.
I felt that we were close from the very first meeting. But she invited us to her home for rehearsals, and we stayed at her beach house. And she was very generous and responsive, – Sevigny said.
Guadagnino, who also participated in the long interview, praised Roberts for her hospitality.
Julia is simply amazing. She’s a friend, a mother, she cares about people. Spending time with her is amazing. Being at her home is amazing. “Doing something with Julia is amazing,” the director concluded.
