Over three seasons, Life on Call has become one of the most talked about Russian dramas and a project where the world of elite escort is shown not only as a showcase of luxury, but also as a territory of cruel games, compromises and personal tragedies. The viewer saw how the characters made their way through betrayal and death, took revenge, built a business and again found themselves at a broken trough. Now their stories are reaching a new level: the KIONFILM studio and the Andreasyan Brothers Film Company have released the full-length film Life on Call. The film continues the plot and is already available exclusively in the KION online cinema.
The main roles were played by Pavel Priluchny, Liza Moryak and Alexey Grishin, whose lines are well known to viewers from previous seasons. The project also stars Anna Azarova, Anna Glaube, Pavel Levkin, Yana Anosova, Nikita Plashchevskiy.
In the film, which can be watched as a separate work, without being tied to the backstory, escort businessman Alexander Schmidt faces pressure from an international criminal cartel: they want to use his business to cash out and withdraw money. Schmidt is strictly against illegal substances, but he is forced into a deal. In order to survive, he turns to patrons for help, who have their own interests. Now the hero risks not only his business, but also his life.

Alexander Schmidt (Magic) – Pavel Priluchny
Schmidt initially appeared before the viewer as a charismatic and ruthless owner of an elite escort agency. In the first season, he was a man with principles: yes, this is a business selling illusions, but Schmidt refused to stoop to the level of a brothel. His rules helped him maintain authority and control the market.
In the second season, we saw Schmidt in the context of his personal life – in a conflict with his daughter Alina, who decided to go into escorting to spite her father. This became the point of no return. The hero tries to take revenge on his competitors, returns to Moscow after his business was destroyed, but instead of the market structure he is accustomed to, he faces the degradation of the industry. Everything he had built over the years was trampled by the new “masters of life”. His struggle becomes not only business, but also personal: he tries to save his daughter, avenges the murdered girls, builds a new order.
The third season finally turned Magic into a major player. The death of his daughter becomes a turning point for him, for the first time we see him in a state of real despair. But instead of stepping aside, Schmidt goes even deeper into the big game: he uses dirt, pits oligarchs against each other, and becomes a man who can no longer be called simply the owner of an agency. This is a step into politics, into a world where connections and power decide, not money.
This line continues in the full-length film: Magic has become even tougher. The loss of his daughter made him ruthless, but at the same time it caused a crack inside. He understands that his old life is ruined, and now he plays only for high stakes. If at the beginning of his journey he was a businessman, now he is a political player who cannot be broken by fear or dirt.
Nastya’s story is one of the most noticeable transformations of the series. When the viewer first saw the heroine, she was a naive girl, just entering the dating market. She had to go from being a “newbie” to Magic’s assistant himself. She learned to survive in a world where everything is bought and sold, and in this world her natural kindness constantly came into conflict with the circumstances.
In the second season, Nastya is no longer just part of the agency, but Schmidt’s right hand. Her admiration for him becomes a form of dependence: she looks up to him, copies his manner of doing business, but deep down she remains different. Where Magic sees cold calculation, Nastya still looks for people and emotions. This makes her vulnerable, but also human.
By the third season, she had become an independent figure. Nastya began to claim her rights to the business, argue with Magic, and tension arose in their relationship. For Semenov, the investigator and protection racket, Nastya also stopped being just “a player from the other team.” The plot hinted that their connection could be much deeper than playing on different fronts.
In the film, the heroine continues to balance between her natural kindness and the cruel world she entered. Her choices are becoming more and more dangerous: to remain faithful to Magic or to find her own path. Nastya is no longer the girl who came to the escort, but she will not be able to leave this world clean, and this is the main conflict of her story.
Semenov was a two-faced figure from the very beginning – a policeman working on two fronts at once. On the one hand, he observes the law, on the other – he protects illegal business, getting his share. But Semenov was never the master of the situation: everything he received had to be shared with his superiors, and in this hierarchy he remained just a cog.
In the first season, his storyline was more of an auxiliary one: a man who “solves problems” for money. But the further he went, the more he got drawn into Magic’s game. In the second season, Semenov comes into direct confrontation with Schmidt. He uses Anton, Magic’s partner, to get dirt, threatens, manipulates and even deceives Nastya. At the same time, his motives are transparent: it is not a thirst for power, but a constant attempt to stay afloat.
In the third season, Semenov becomes a much more interesting character. He investigates the death of Magic’s daughter and hides the truth. His actions show that he himself no longer understands where the law is and where his personal game is. He is both Schmidt’s enemy and ally. And the plot increasingly hinted that his interest in Nastya goes beyond purely business relations.
In the full-length film, Semenov acquires a new dimension. Now he is not just a corrupt official, but a man who is drawn into a global scheme. His famous “serious money – serious conversation” becomes a motto: he is drawn into a story where the stakes are higher than the usual bribes and protection racket. And his storyline promises no fewer sharp turns than the main characters.
