Jim Carrey and Taylor Momsen appeared together on the red carpet 25 years after filming “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” On November 8, the stars supported the band Soundgarden, which was honored to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year.
This is the first meeting of the stars since working together on the popular comedy film, which was released in November 2000.
We haven’t seen each other since “The Grinch,” Jim told reporters.
Yes, it’s been 25 years. It’s crazy,” Taylor added.
Jim played the Grinch, and Taylor played Cindy Lou in the classic New Year’s film, which became one of the first roles in her career.

For the public appearance, Momsen chose a rock ‘n’ roll look – a black thigh-length slip dress with lace details. She complemented it with black stockings, platform boots and a black leather jacket. Jim looked stylish in a black pinstriped trench coat.

Kerry introduced the band, and Taylor performed with the musicians at the star-studded event, singing along with Brandi Carlile. Olivia Rodrigo and Doja Cat also performed at the ceremony.
