Justin Baldoni has claimed in a new lawsuit that Blake Lively improvised an unscripted kissing scene during the filming of “It Ends With Us.” An exhibit filed by Wayfarer on November 13th included a short clip of Lively and Baldoni kissing in a hospital hallway.
The footage, according to People, shows Lively, who plays Lily, encountering Baldoni’s character (Ryle) while he’s working at the hospital. Lily approaches a confused Ryle in the hallway, apologizes for disturbing him, and gives him a quick kiss on the lips. The director’s lawyers claim that this scene was not originally in the script.

In December 2024, 38-year-old Lively filed a lawsuit against the film’s 41-year-old director, Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment. Baldoni denied any wrongdoing and in January filed a counterclaim for $400 million against Lively, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist, but the court dismissed it. The final hearing in the Lively and Baldoni case is scheduled for March 2026.
