The event, inspired by the spirit and ideas of the International Festival “Hero and Time”, created by Sergey Puskepalis, promises to become a bright event in the cultural life of Russia. The festival “FERRUM-25”, created with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the government of Stavropol Krai and the administration of the city of Zheleznovodsk, sets ambitious goals: to unite society around traditional values, to instill in the younger generation a sense of patriotism and respect for public moral standards.
The festival program promises to be rich and diverse. Viewers will see all-Russian premieres of new domestic films, representing a wide range of genres and styles. In addition to new releases, screenings of masterpieces of Soviet cinema will be organized, allowing you to appreciate the classics and trace the evolution of domestic cinema. For lovers of a deeper immersion in the world of cinema, creative meetings with famous directors, actors and screenwriters will be organized. Master classes will allow you to get acquainted with the intricacies of film production, and interactive events will provide live communication and exchange of impressions. Exhibitions, concerts and other cultural events will complement the program, creating an atmosphere of celebration and creative unity.

Special attention is paid to children and youth this year. For the first time, FERRUM will feature a special children’s program developed taking into account the interests of young viewers. There will also be a “Film School Review” – a series of screenings of films created by young directors, which will allow you to assess the potential of the future of Russian cinema.
The traditional red carpet will gather the brightest stars of Russian and Soviet cinema at the opening ceremony. Among the invited guests are masters of their craft, who have earned the recognition and love of viewers over many years. The list of star participants is impressive: Yulia Peresild, Andrey Rudensky, Anna Kovalchuk, Svetlana Toma, Sergey Shakurov, Anna Yakunina, Alexander Pashutin, Elena Zakharova, Boris Kamorzin, Elena Biryukova, Pavel Artemyev, Vasily Mishchenko, Irina Bezrukova, Nikita Tarasov, Anzhelika and Kristina Kashiriny, Sergey Mokritsky, Polina Lazareva, Andrey Kravchuk, Maria Lapshina, Oleg Taktarov, Georgy Peradze, Ivan I. Tverdovsky, Alexander Kott and many others.

2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War – one of the most important events in the history of Russia. This date will be marked within the framework of the festival with a special program, and the festival itself will open with a film concert “Victory Bird”. On August 28, the Puskepalis House of Culture will feature piercing songs and melodies performed by Honored Artist of Russia Yulia Peresild and the Mandragora group.
An important component of the festival will be a special program of film screenings “At the Beginning of Glorious Deeds”, dedicated to outstanding figures of Russian history and culture. Viewers will be able to get acquainted with the bright pages of our past by watching films about legendary personalities who had a significant impact on the fate of the Fatherland. Such films as “Empresses” (2023, directed by A. Kravchuk), “Peter the Great. The Last Tsar” and other films will be presented, allowing you to take a fresh look at historical events and heroes.
Evening concerts on the “FERRUM” square will be the highlights of the festival. On August 29, the group “Gradusy” will perform, and on August 30, “Room of Culture”. Guests will also enjoy a fun workout with actor Oleg Taktarov.
