Jaden Smith, 27, has been appointed the first creative director of Christian Louboutin’s men’s footwear and accessories line. He will now oversee the creation of all four seasonal collections. The first will be shown at Men’s Fashion Week in January, and the line itself will go on sale in May 2026.
When I first met Jaden, I saw that he was the perfect fit for our fashion house. His world is rich and multifaceted, his style and cultural sensitivity are inspiring, and his curiosity and openness are remarkable, – shared the brand’s founder, Christian Louboutin, in his official statement. – I felt that under his creative direction, our men’s line would develop by leaps and bounds. He seems like the perfect addition to our creative team, and I sincerely look forward to working together.
Jaden first met Louboutin in 2019.

The fusion of my vision with Christian’s was a natural fit because we see the world in very similar ways. We both respect creative freedom, and I think that’s why our collaboration works,” Jaden shared in a conversation with WWD. “Christian has given me a space where I can freely explore, learn, and create. His legacy is built on hard work, and I want to continue that.
The young man also noted that he now bears “an overwhelming responsibility.”
This is one of the greatest honors of my life, and I feel tremendous pressure to live up to it. But I can’t wait to show the world what we’ve been working on. I think the Christian Louboutin men’s universe has huge potential.
Jaden is no newcomer to the fashion world: he is a regular guest in the front rows of fashion shows, and is also a regular at the Met Gala.
