Prince William and Kate Middleton shared their favorite, previously unpublished photos ahead of the New Year. In a series of 12 images released on Tuesday, December 30, the couple showed royal fans one photo for each past month. Among the collection, fans were particularly delighted with a photo of Middleton visiting the Action for Children maternity and baby unit at HM Prison Styal.

The collection also included a photo of 12-year-old Prince George, who, together with his father, communicates with veterans at the 80th anniversary of VE Day in March.
It was the first sign that George would take on future responsibilities, Russell Myers of The Mirror told People earlier in August.
It is a huge responsibility to sit down and communicate with veterans. “It was incredible,” a palace source later commented.

Also in the carousel you can see a photo of William with his father King Charles III and aunt Princess Anne at the annual Trooping the Colour parade, which took place in June. Other moments featured in the carousel included the Prince and Princess’s first approach to Marine One when President Donald Trump landed in Windsor for a state visit to the US in September, and William showing off his volleyball skills in Rio de Janeiro in November.
