In 1981, Lady Diana Spencer married Prince Charles at St. Paul’s Cathedral in a wedding dress that was seen by 750 million people around the world. Fans of the British monarchy were able to see the outfit in all its glory on a live broadcast, and the dress itself, of course, went down in history. It was created by David Emanuel together with his wife Elizabeth.

Unfortunately, the ivory silk taffeta dress with lace and a 7.5-meter train and worldwide fame did not save the designers from bankruptcy.
Both companies of David and Elizabeth went bankrupt, their total debt is almost 300,000 pounds sterling. According to the Daily Mail, the fashion designer founded Licensed to Design in 2002 and Renaissance Man in 2018. Lawyers are currently reviewing the documents to file for bankruptcy.
