Brad Pitt has bought a $12 million Hollywood Hills mansion with state-of-the-art security systems, The Post reported on Tuesday, September 2.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the 61-year-old Fight Club star bought the property from The Killers guitarist Dave Keuning and his wife Emily. The musician purchased the home in 2021 for nearly $9.6 million and put the estate on the market in June for just under $14 million.

The restored mansion, which offers stunning views of downtown Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean, was built in 1989 and is located in the upscale Outpost Estates neighborhood, which is also home to Orlando Bloom and Ben Affleck.
Sources told The Post that Pitt chose the home for its robust security systems after his other $5.5 million home was burglarized in June.
He wanted a place that could provide optimal security and privacy, and the location was perfect,” a source told The Post. “Security was always a priority.”

The mansion is securely hidden behind lush landscaping and has a state-of-the-art alarm system. The hand-laid brick entryway is also behind a guarded gate.
Along with his recently robbed Los Feliz home, Pitt just sold his other longtime estate in the same area for $33 million. He also purchased a $40 million clifftop home in Carmel Highlands and is a co-owner of the Château Miraval winery in France. Brad acquired a new home amid a strong relationship with Ines de Ramon, so it is likely that the mansion could become the star’s new family home.
