Lady Gaga has decided to cancel her Mayhem Ball concert in Miami, Florida on Wednesday, September 3. It happened just minutes before the show was set to begin. The 39-year-old artist shared the news with fans on her blog.

The singer blamed the cancellation on health issues. Gaga said she was unable to perform due to damage to her vocal cords. The star posted her statement at 8:00 p.m., while the concert was set to begin between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m.

The singer apologized to fans and referred to a very busy concert schedule.
I sing live every night. Although this was a difficult and painful decision, I am more afraid of the long-term consequences for my voice. I hope you will forgive me. I’m so, so sorry.
Lady Gaga’s next show is scheduled for Saturday, September 6th at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
