According to documents obtained by the Daily Mail and filed Monday, December 29, in Los Angeles Superior Court, Rourke, 73, was served with a notice on December 18 requiring him to pay overdue rent within three days or vacate the premises where he lived.
The plaintiff, Eric T. Goldie, claims Rourke owed $59,100. The lawsuit is the latest blow for the actor after he was kicked off the popular reality show earlier this year for “inappropriate remarks and behavior” toward a fellow contestant.
Rourke had only rented the three-bedroom home since March 30, when he signed a lease for $5,200 per month. The lawsuit states that the monthly rent for the two-bathroom home was subsequently raised to $7,000 beginning in Rourke’s second month of occupancy. It is known that Rourke was not at home when he was sent the court order.
