Justin Baldoni claims Blake Lively calls her home office “Buckingham Palace” because “too many celebrities” visit it. The director cited as evidence in their case the fact that Blake asked to hold meetings for the film “It Ends With Us” in her own home.
She called it “Buckingham Palace,” she said so herself, because so many stars visited her mansion, Baldoni said in his testimony, according to the Daily Mail.
Baldoni, 41, has been suing Lively, 38, since December 2024. A transcript of the interview, included in a court document obtained by People, shows that at one point, Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, used the metaphor of a palace for their New York City home office.
They named their penthouse office “Buckingham Palace,” Reynolds noted.
In December 2024, Lively filed a lawsuit against her co-star and director Baldoni, as well as other Wayfarer Studios employees, accusing Reynolds of sexual harassment and a smear campaign against her, which the director vehemently denies. Baldoni’s countersuit, accusing Lively and 49-year-old Reynolds of defamation and extortion, was later dismissed by a judge.
