Liam Payne’s loved ones are still grieving the sudden death of the artist, who died last October after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina. On the musician’s birthday, his ex-girlfriend, 26-year-old Kate Cassidy, posted a touching message to her beloved who had passed away on social media.
My dear Liam, It breaks my heart that I can’t give you a paper birthday card today. That I can’t hear your laugh or tell you all the things I’d like to say a thousand times. I’ve tried to find the right words, but I’ll start with the most obvious – happy birthday. Today you would have been 32. In your 31 years on this earth, you have brought so much joy, happiness and hope to so many people – especially me, – Kate wrote under a series of photos in which Payne is captured happy and cheerful.
Kate continued:
I hope you know how brightly you shine, even from up there. I would give years of my life to give you a few more. I miss the memories we made together. I miss the excitement we had together. But today, my birthday gift to you is my strength. I promise that today I will especially celebrate you, respect your life, and cherish the wonderful moments we spent together. Recall that during the investigation into the musician’s death, it was discovered that before his death, he was under the influence of drugs and did not realize what he was doing. The musician’s multi-million dollar fortune will be inherited by Payne’s only son, Baer, when he turns 25.
