Jennifer Lopez gave a candid interview to Lee Cowan on Sunday’s edition of “CBS News Sunday Morning.” Lopez shared how she coped with her difficult breakup with actor Ben Affleck. In August 2024, J.Lo filed for divorce from Ben on their second wedding anniversary, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

The star said that after their breakup, she had a very hard time, but it was also “the best thing that ever happened to her,” as the divorce helped her grow emotionally and spiritually. J.Lo also discussed her new film, Kiss of the Spider Woman, produced by her ex-husband.
It was a really tough time, Jennifer said about working on the project together after their breakup.

Despite this, she noted that working on the film helped her distract herself from her worries.
It was hard not to think about the divorce, but in a way it felt like the best of times and the worst of times, the actress shared. – Every moment on set while I was playing this role, I was so happy. And then, at home, everything didn’t seem so joyful. “And I thought, ‘How am I going to cope with this?’ But you just get over it,” she added, saying the separation had helped her become more mindful. “I’m a completely different person now than I was a year and a half ago.” I can enjoy life more, – concluded the star.
