Jessica Simpson is back on screen – the actress has starred as a new client of a law firm made up exclusively of women. In the new Hulu drama, the firm is led by Allura Grant (Kim Kardashian), Emerald Green (Niecy Nash), Dinah Standish (Glenn Close), Liberty Ronson (Naomi Watts), and Milan (Teyana Taylor).
According to the series synopsis, “All Fair” tells the story of female divorce attorneys who leave a male-dominated firm to open their own office.
Simpson’s character admitted that she is taking revenge for botched plastic surgery and cheating on her ex-husband.
We’ve been married for almost three years. “I knew he had one affair, maybe more. So when he suggested I get plastic surgery, I couldn’t say no,” Simpson’s character says in the episode, which premiered Tuesday, November 4.
Simpson, 45, previously hinted at her role on the show in May, telling Entertainment Tonight that she spent eight hours in makeup preparing for filming. Jessica is also going through drama in real life – in January, she split from her husband Eric Johnson after 10 years of marriage.
