Lera Kudryavtseva, host of the popular show “Secret for a Million,” was born and spent her childhood in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan. She grew up with her sister, Oksana, who is seven years older. Lera shared her memories of her childhood.
My sister and I didn’t fight, but she hated me throughout my childhood. “I was always the one starting conflicts. I was terribly mean. And she got it because she was the older sister,” Kudryavtseva said in the studio of the show “Stars Aligned.”
Lera also recalled how she had to deal with health problems as a child. She suffered from pyelonephritis, which required her to take regular medication. One day, when Lera was sick and lying at home in bed, Oksana went out for a walk with a boy. Kudryavtseva was upset that her sister was having fun while she was confined to bed, so Lera made up a story about her kidney pain being caused by Oksana beating her. As a result, her older sister was punished, and Kudryavtseva stopped envying her.
Interestingly, Oksana Zhukova chose a completely different path in life than Lera, far removed from show business. She works as a financier and actively helps her famous sister with her bookkeeping. Oksana lives in the same building as the TV presenter, allowing them to meet and socialize frequently, especially when Kudryavtseva comes to Moscow from her country mansion. Lera described her relationship with her sister as warm. She noted that she calls Oksana almost every day.
I have no one closer to her and my mother, the singer stated with confidence.
By the way, the TV presenter’s mother, Alexandra Ivanovna, spends every summer at a resort in Bulgaria, in the village of Ravda. This is where both her daughters, Oksana and Lera, come to visit her to relax together and enjoy spending time with their family.
