Charlie’s Angels star Sally Kirkland died on November 11. The actress died at the age of 84 after a battle with dementia. The Golden Globe winner was admitted to hospice care at a hospital in Palm Springs just days before her death. According to the star’s representative, Sally had been battling not only dementia but also two life-threatening infections after breaking several bones last year.

According to the GoFundMe charity, although Sally had a successful career, due to poor advice from a financial adviser in 2007 during the stock market crash, Sally lost most of her investments and the money she made during the peak of her career (1988-1998). Therefore, in recent years, she has been receiving medical care from the fund.
Kirkland became known for her role as Laurie Archer in the television series Charlie’s Angels, which aired from 1976 to 1981. In 1987, Kirkland won a Golden Globe and an Oscar for her leading role in the film Anna.
