Sales of the Geely EX5 crossover in the new EM-R trim have begun on the Russian market. Pricing starts at 3,214,000 rubles, including special offers.
The model is equipped with a serial hybrid system—the most tax-efficient option in Russia. It includes a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that charges the traction battery, as well as a 218-horsepower electric motor.
The equipment includes a 10.2-inch virtual instrument panel, a media system with a 15.4-inch touchscreen, Flyme Sound acoustics with 16 speakers and a subwoofer, climate control, all-round cameras, adaptive cruise control and a full heating package.
Sport
Another new product from the Chinese manufacturer will be the Coolray SUV in the Sport version. The car has already appeared in showrooms with a price starting from 2,774,990 rubles.
The car has not received any technical changes; it is equipped with a 147-horsepower 1.5-liter turbo engine and a 7-speed “robot”.
The main improvements concerned the exterior design: there appeared a black roof, roof rails, a developed diffuser, 18-inch wheels in a new design, red brake calipers, fully LED optics, turn signals integrated into the mirror housings and a massive spoiler with the S logo. The interior is trimmed in black eco-leather with contrasting red stitching.
The driver has access to an 8.8-inch virtual instrument panel, multimedia with a 14.6-inch touchscreen and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, single-zone climate control, an audio system with 6 speakers, a rear view camera, rear parking sensors, heated seats and a steering wheel.
Prestige
The Russian brand Jeland announced the start of sales in Russia of the J7 crossover with a Land Rover design in a new Prestige + configuration with front- or all-wheel drive. Prices for the car start from 3,049,000 rubles. The engine range of the SUV includes engines of 150 and 186 hp. s.
The new configuration was developed taking into account the wishes of customers from Russia. The top version, in addition to a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a media system with a 13.2-inch touchscreen display, ambient interior lighting, acoustics with 8 speakers, a set of heating and all-round cameras, is equipped with a memory of the driver’s seat settings and an expanded list of driver assistants.
Diesel
The auto giant from Chongqing announced the expansion of the Hunter Plus pickup lineup due to a version with a diesel engine and a two-row five-seater cabin. Unlike the gasoline version, the car will be able to conquer more severe off-road conditions and tow a trailer with a boat, ATV or other equipment.
Under the hood is a 2.5-liter turbocharged Isuzu engine, which is combined with an 8-speed automatic. The drive is all-wheel drive, with all locks, and externally the car can be distinguished by a black safety arc with built-in brake lights.
The bed can carry up to 975 kg of cargo, and it is also possible to install a towbar, which will allow towing trailers weighing up to 2500 kg. The stability of the load is increased by the stabilization system, and a special towing mode allows you to control it while driving.
The pickup truck is also equipped with a 7.0-inch instrument panel, a media system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control, all-round cameras with a “transparent chassis” function (the image from the front camera broadcasts what is happening under the bottom to the central screen), rear parking sensors, an integrated video recorder, cruise control and heated front seats.
Luxury
The Changan concern announced the imminent appearance on the Russian market of the luxury crossover Avatr 07. The exact timing of the start of sales, as well as details about the equipment, have not yet been disclosed.
The 4.8-meter car will be powered by a series-hybrid system, in which the gasoline engine operates exclusively to charge the battery. There will be two versions: a rear-wheel drive 314-horsepower version and an all-wheel drive 502-horsepower version. The driving range is up to 932 kilometers.
