Filming for the fourth season of “Monster” has begun in Los Angeles, and yesterday, December 18th, local paparazzi managed to catch lead actor Charlie Hunnam on set. Even the photographers didn’t immediately recognize the 45-year-old actor: for his new character, Anthony Borden, father of the bloodthirsty killer Lizzie Borden, Charlie had changed beyond recognition.
For filming, the actor was given “bloody” makeup, and his blond hair and beard were dyed chestnut. Charlie wore an olive three-piece suit with a vintage brooch on the vest and high leather boots, and carried a black briefcase.

It is already known that in the new season of showrunner Ryan Murphy’s anthology, in addition to Hunnam, the screenwriter’s favorite, Sarah Paulson, will also play a role. The plot promises surprises: in reality, neither Borden nor his daughter were ultimately found guilty of the charges.
As a reminder, the third season was widely criticized by viewers, primarily due to the abundance of violence on screen and the ambiguous narrative tone. Another recent project by the creator of “American Horror Story,” the legal series “All Fair” with Kim Kardashian, was not well received by professional film critics either.
