Daria Lebedeva won the Cinema category at the Art Theatre Awards. She received the award for her feature film debut, “Driving You Crazy.” Lebedeva beat out three strong competitors: actress Evgenia Leonova, nominated for her role as Masha in “Family Happiness,” actor Ilya Ozolin for his role as Mikhail Lermontov in “Lermontov,” and director Felix Umarov for his film “The Prophet: The History of Alexander Pushkin.”
“I cried when I went on stage, I cried while giving my speech, I cried while giving the interview, and I cried while hugging the wonderful actress Kristina Babushkina. Because it’s an incredible joy,” she admitted in a conversation with HELLO!. “Some of the nominees are historical films.” And the fact that a film about love won is astounding. I feel a truly sincere happiness that simply breaks me. On stage, I was struck by the thought that we must dream boldly, even though sometimes the path to this dream is so long, and it seems like nothing will happen. But it does, and you realize that this journey was not in vain.
As a reminder, director Daria Lebedeva made a name for herself with her full-length debut, the romantic comedy “Driving You Crazy,” released in Russia on October 9, 2025. The film not only won the hearts of audiences but also received recognition from professionals: in December 2025, Daria was awarded the “Discovery of the Year” award in the “Director” category, according to Russian film critics. In early 2026, the film was included in the longlist of the XIII Awards of the Association of Film and Television Producers in the nomination “Best Full-Length Feature Film”, as well as in 14 nominations of the longlist of the 39th National Cinematographic Awards “Nika” for 2025.

“You Drive Me Crazy” is an unusual romantic comedy with elements of fantasy. The action takes place in St. Petersburg, where the heroes encounter a mysterious phenomenon: they find themselves in parallel realities, separated by a mirror in the bathroom of an old apartment.
