Kaliningrad, August 14, 2026 – The International Short and Debut Film Festival “Koroche” has announced the jury members for its competition programs. This year, for the 14th time, the festival will be held in Kaliningrad from August 18 to 23 and will bring together leading representatives of the Russian and international film industry.
The jury of the short film competition: screen stars and creators of breakthrough projects
Films in the short film section will be judged by:
Daria Moroz is an Honored Artist of Russia, actress and director, known for the films “The Fool”, “The Dawns Here Are Quiet…” and the TV series “Trigger”. As a director, she filmed two seasons of “Sex. Before and after.”
Klim Kozinsky – director and screenwriter, author of the series “Out of Myself”, “13 Clinical” and “The First Number”, laureate of the “SLON” award.
Ivan Yakovenko – general producer of the film company Bosfor Pictures, which produces young authors. Among his projects is the winner of the “Koroche” “Take it and remember”.
Andrey Lipov (Belarus) – producer and screenwriter, founder of “KinoTsekh”, winner of the Grand Prix of the “Western Gate” festival. His films have repeatedly participated in international festivals.
The jury will determine the winners in the following categories: Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Animated Film, and Special Prize.
Feature Film Debuts: Jury Members
The debut feature film section was headed by:
Anna Melikyan is a director and winner of the Nika and Golden Eagle awards, whose films Rusalka and About Love have received international recognition. “Rusalka” was nominated for an Oscar from Russia.
Victoria Isakova is an Honored Artist of Russia, actress and producer, known for her roles in the TV series “The Thaw”, “Epidemic” and “Homeland”. She also played the main role in the film “Incredible Tatyana Viktorovna”, which will open the festival.
Dzhanik Fayziev is the director of “Turkish Gambit” and “The Legend of Kolovrat”, producer of more than 140 projects, including “Night Watch” and “Doctor Liza.”
Sayora Khudaiberdieva (Uzbekistan) – producer, who worked on “Geographer”, “Thaw” and “Mr. Knockout”, an expert on international cooperation in the cinematography of Uzbekistan.
Yuri Bykov – director of the films “Fool”, “Major” and “Plant”, winner of the “Nika” award, prize-winner of international festivals.
The jury will present the Grand Prix in its section, two special prizes, as well as a special award from the Russia 1 TV channel.
Audience voting and expert laboratory
The winner of the special program “Koroche. The “Stars” will be chosen by viewers through an online vote.
The short film analysis lab will also continue its work as part of the festival: directors Alexander Veledinsky and Ivan I. Tverdovsky will analyze the competition entries, sharing their professional expertise with young creators.
