48-year-old Sarah Michelle Gellar is returning to her famous role of Buffy Summers, and now these are not just rumors. On Friday, August 8, Los Angeles paparazzi captured the actress during the first day of filming the sequel to “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” And despite the fact that the heroine died in the series finale, sacrificing herself to save the world, fans have hope that the creators will “resurrect” her.
In the new photos, Sarah is captured among the cast trailers and surrounded by the film crew, sipping coffee at the beginning of the work day. The actress was filmed in a completely scarlet look: a mini dress with frills and pumps, and in her hands she held a roomy branded bag. Stylists let her blonde locks down and parted them to the side.

The sequel is directed by Chloe Zhao, and the creator of the original, Joss Whedon, was “canceled” after the actors of the series alleged inappropriate behavior on his part. Hulu announced that the project was being prepared for a reboot back in February.

Recall that Sarah Michelle Gellar played Buffy from 1997 to 2003, her partners in the series were the late Michelle Trachtenberg, Alyson Hannigan, Charisma Carpenter, David Boreanaz and others.
