Kate Middleton, Prince William and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, went over the weekend to the set of the Harry Potter series, which is located near their home.
According to the Daily Mail, William and Kate with their children watched the filming of one of the episodes. The fictional Hogsmeade railway station from the Harry Potter franchise was built near the Windsor Home Park estate, where the Welsh family now lives in Adelaide Cottage.
12-year-old George, 10-year-old Charlotte, and 9-year-old Louis met the cast of the series in person, including 11-year-old Dominic McLaughlin, who plays Harry, the series’ main character. According to sources, Prince Louis even rode the Hogwarts Express along the railway line, which runs through the estate’s woodland. A source from the set told the Daily Mail that filming “was only for one night, so for the kids it was a magical ticket.”
However, the Wales family will not live in the Adelaide cottage for long: next year the royal couple and their children plan to move.
