Catholic Christmas is celebrated in Western countries on December 25th, so the holiday season has already begun. The British royal family is also preparing for the celebrations: the day before, on December 7th, King Charles III and Queen Camilla shared a new Christmas card with their joint photograph with their audience on social networks.
The photo was taken on the grounds of Zinaida Volkonskaya’s villa in Rome in April of this year, when the monarchs came to Italy on an official visit.

Christmas is approaching! The King and Queen are delighted to share this year’s Christmas card, which features a photograph taken in the grounds of Villa Wolkonskaya in Rome during Their Majesties’ State Visit to the Italian Republic in April, the reigning monarchs captioned the card.
The photo shows Charles wearing a dark blue two-piece suit with a white shirt and an oyster-coloured tie, while Camilla is wearing an elegant off-white dress.
