Journalist Caroline Graham claimed that Meghan Markle’s team sent her “overly aggressive” messages for visiting Thomas Markle in hospital. Caroline had previously known Markle’s father and decided to visit him now, during his serious illness.
“I think it’s important to be clear,” Graham wrote. “I’ve always written articles only with Tom’s express permission, and he told me he wanted to give an interview to The Mail on Sunday because he wants to control media coverage of his amputation. He has been deceived many times by people online spreading rumours.” He also wanted to contact Meghan one last time, Graham added.

The journalist explained that she first met 81-year-old Thomas when he lived in Mexico. Thomas was recently hospitalized and his leg was amputated. Graham went to the Philippines, where the Duchess of Sussex’s father is currently located. The journalist said that she and Thomas’s son had an agreement to meet. Markle said that he had not received any news from Meghan’s daughter.
Last week, Meghan’s team confirmed that she had given Thomas a letter. However, at the same time, Caroline was bombarded with threats that if she did not stop communicating with Thomas, Meghan’s team would take legal action.
Graham said that she was present when the letter was delivered, but did not go into details of its contents.
