Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will star in a new Netflix film, four months after signing a new deal with the streaming service.
It has been announced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will produce the film adaptation of bestselling author Jasmine Guillory’s novel “The Wedding Date.”
The book was published in 2018 and is the first in a six-book series. The screenplay is being written by Tracy Oliver, who wrote the 2017 film Girls Trip.

Harry and Meghan are working on a new project as part of a division of their charity, Archewell Productions.
In this funny debut novel, a best man and a last-minute wedding guest are about to find out if their date night can turn into something more, the book’s blurb says.
And just two weeks ago, on December 3, the Duchess’s lifestyle show, Love, Meghan: A Holiday Celebration, premiered on Netflix for its Christmas special. It is not yet known whether the series will be renewed for a third season.
