LG’s eco-promotions are taking place for the third year in a row, and each time they become more ambitious. This year, for World Environment Day, participants enjoyed lectures at universities, recycling campaigns, clothing swaps, and even a local cleanup.

The main event was an office swap, where company employees and students exchanged old items – clothes, shoes, accessories, and books. It is noteworthy that the swap featured renowned designer Dzhemal Makhmudov, winner of the Golden Spindle national award and the Russian Silhouette competition, who completed courses at the Mariella Burani fashion house in Milan and worked for the fashion houses of Giorgio Armani and Valentin Yudashkin. The fashion designer has been creating eco-friendly clothing since 2010, and told those present more about the philosophy of conscious consumption.

In addition to the swap, the eco-week participants collected electronics for recycling and planted plants near the Zoya Museum in the Moscow region with children and teachers from a nearby school.
