Yesterday, September 18, the Prince Albert II Foundation’s 20th charity gala took place at the Salle Garnier of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo. The event, the largest in the foundation’s history, brought together stars of film, music, and fashion. Among the evening’s guests of honor were Hollywood actor Richard Gere and Italian actress Monica Bellucci. The event was also attended by supermodel Eva Herzigova and French actress Isabelle Huppert.

For the 48-year-old princess, the evening was another fashion triumph. Charlene appeared on the red carpet in an evening dress with open shoulders and beaded trim from the British brand Jenny Packham.

The musical program included performances by Christina Aguilera, tenor Placido Domingo and disco group Sister Sledge. Aguilera took to the carpet in a stunning black dress by Versace.

More than 250 guests enjoyed an exquisite menu developed by Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno. The evening concluded with a charity auction led by Simon de Pury, where unique pieces of art and exclusive lots were raffled off in support of the foundation’s environmental initiatives.
