Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez will voice the leading roles in a new animated film called “Not Alone”. Gomez will voice Fran, “a brilliant astrobotanist developing the world’s first plant-fueled rocket,” and Chalamet will voice Joe, “an introverted mechanic living a quiet life alone.”
The new animated film will be directed by the studio’s stars Eric Guillon, Claire Dodgson and Jonathan Del Val.
When Joe and Fran find themselves together preparing for the first launch of a revolutionary rocket, sparks immediately fly between them, but neither of them is experienced in romantic relationships, the official synopsis of the film says. — Life gets complicated when three aliens — tiny, rebellious, and adorable — find refuge in Joe’s house.
While Chalamet is making her animation debut, Gomez previously voiced Mavis Dracula in the Hotel Transylvania franchise and Helga in the 2008 animated film Horton Messrs.
Not Alone is set to premiere on April 16, 2027.
