Last Saturday, Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse became the stars of the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival. The actor is promoting his producing project, the thriller “Prime Time,” in which he himself stars. He plays Chris Hansen, the host of the show “To Catch a Predator.” But at the premiere of the film, the focus was not only on the film itself and the images of the star couple, but also on one sweet detail that Pattinson decided to share with journalists.
The 40-year-old actor admitted that in recent years he has lost his attraction to the glitter of social events. And when faced with the choice of “going out or staying home,” he now always chooses the latter.
When I first had a baby, I lost the desire to go out at night. And suddenly I had twice as much free time, which was very welcome,” The Guardian quotes Pattinson as saying.
Fatherhood has noticeably changed Pattinson’s habits. Back in an interview with GQ at the beginning of the year, he talked about how his daily routine had changed:
I go to bed much earlier. It’s just constant time management. It seems obvious, but you don’t realize it until you start.
The actor also noted that with the birth of his child, he became much more patient, and also looked at communicating with children in a new way: now he sincerely enjoys spending time with them. He said these words back in October 2025, but they still reflect his current views.
As a reminder, Robert and his fiancée Suki Waterhouse became parents in the spring of 2024. The news first became known thanks to the paparazzi: at the end of March, the couple was photographed on a walk in Los Angeles with a stroller. The light pink color of the stroller led fans to believe that the couple had a girl. A few weeks later, Waterhouse confirmed these guesses by posting the first photo of the newborn on social media. And a little later, at the Coachella music festival, she officially confirmed from the stage that she and Robert are having a daughter. However, the celebrity parents are still keeping the baby’s name a secret.
