On August 20, artistic director and conductor Alexey Aslanov presented to the public for the first time the new creative union RosaPhilharmonia, which includes an orchestra, a choir and programs to support young artists. The debut took place at a landmark event for the world of classical music – the festival “Rosa Khutor. Classics”.

The RosaPhilharmonia ensemble performed a symphonic program for the public, including Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. I and Sergei Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. III. The piano part was performed by the famous pianist Dmitry Shishkin.

The uniqueness of the RosaPhilharmonia orchestra is that everyone who gathered on stage and everyone who participates in this project are fans of their craft, people who adore art, music, they are all professionals, each of them works full-time in the best groups in the country, – Alexey Aslanov said about his wards.

In addition to RosaPhilharmonia, the audience can expect many more premieres: the opera P.I. Tchaikovsky’s “The Queen of Spades”, which will be performed by world-famous soloists.
