Finally: the dress code for the upcoming Met Gala, sponsored by the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute and former American Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, has been officially announced. The annual exhibition and the accompanying red carpet will be held under the slogan “Fashion is Art”.
I hope this will once and for all put an end to the rather outdated debate about whether fashion is art, – shares the curator of the Costume Institute Andrew Bolton with the press.
According to the organizers, the theme of the ball, designed to “blur the boundaries between fashion and fine art and invites you to consider the human body as a canvas,” will give celebrity guests more freedom in choosing outfits than usual.

Last November, Anna Wintour already shared some details of the upcoming Met Gala. So, the sponsors of this year’s event will be the spouses Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez.
