The tone of this year’s Vogue World: Milano was set by the publication’s former editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, who arrived at the show arm in arm with her close friends and associates, Donatella Versace and Miuccia Prada.

The large-scale theatrical show was traditionally accompanied by live performances by world pop music stars. The musical part was provided by Grammy winner Alicia Keys in a dress hand-painted by Francesco Risso, and Jennifer Lopez, who performed a passionate dance in a sparkling black ball gown by Dolce & Gabbana.

The show was divided into several acts: the models demonstrated images in the spirit of the era The Renaissance and the strict industrial-era silhouettes of Giorgio Armani. Representatives of several generations of supermodels took to the catwalk: Gigi Hadid in Valentino couture, Deva Cassel, Vittoria Ceretti, Mariacarla Boscono, and Helena Christensen. Following the event, the organizers announced that about 2 million euros from ticket sales would be donated to charity. The funds will go towards a large-scale renovation of the Quarto Oggiaro library in Milan, where they plan to create a modern cultural center for young musicians, artists and future stars of the fashion industry.
