Il Matto
A sea of greenery, lemon trees, light wicker chairs and white tablecloths – on this terrace you will feel like you are transported to the Amalfi Coast. Every evening a pianist plays the piano for the guests of the veranda, creating the atmosphere of a true Italian “dolce vita”. The setting is echoed by the signature cuisine of chef Alexey Malofeev, where seasonal products in original combinations create not only a bright taste, but also a special Mediterranean mood. The new summer menu is accompanied by exquisite wines and a variety of cocktails, the most favorite of which we named last year Il Matto Bellini with a peach smoky – almost classic (except for the original presentation) and at the same time one of the best in capital.

The terrace of the restaurant of Genrikh Karpin and Sergey Serenkov fits perfectly into the landscape of the Garden Quarters. Large, green, with French furniture, white tablecloths and designer lighting, it attracts not only with its early breakfasts, premium steaks and Mediterranean cuisine, but also with its updated cocktail menu. When creating it, the brand bartender used a bright flavor palette, inspired by works of art.

InOut
This secret terrace is so securely hidden in the atrium of a club house in Khamovniki that you don’t even feel the proximity of a noisy transport ring. Seated at a table on the podium, you can have an elegant breakfast from 8 am or a royal dinner with champagne, sea bass schnitzel and cauliflower accompanied by almond puree.

Avero mio
The secret courtyard on Petrovka is also well hidden from idle passers-by who like to look into your plate if you sit at a table standing right on the sidewalk. Here it’s a different story – it’s literally a resort: silence, large comfortable chairs, wide parasols, fresh flowers and a whole garden of green plants. In the mornings they brew exemplary coffee, enveloping the entire courtyard with its aroma, on a hot day they feed you refreshing okroshka and light salads, and in the evening they await you for a classic Italian dinner with wine.

The 24-hour veranda on Prospekt Mira is also located in the courtyard, so here you immediately find yourself in a completely different rhythm – relaxed, unhurried, almost resort-like. The expressive setting, with its striking color combinations and shapes, is a logical continuation of the establishment’s interior, as if taken from a film about the future. Just like in the other two locations of the chain, they are currently offering a summer menu with some rather intriguing items, from burnt peaches with stracciatella and Parma ham to meatballs with potato cream and fir cranberries.

“Ceretto More”
An elegant mansion of the 18th century, century-old linden trees, fresh flowers and a real fountain – this is the context in which the restaurant’s summer terrace operates. The menu features a lot of fish and seafood: spaghetti with scallops and crabs, fried tiger prawns with wasabi sauce, spring rolls with crab, avocado and glass noodles, as well as typical Italian dishes such aspaccheri with eggplants, tomatoesandbasil. Mediterranean specialties seem to go well with the leisurely pace of the old Moscow way of life.

“Magadan”
The verandas of the “Magadan” restaurants are traditionally very green, inviting with the richness of colors even at the level of the entourage and not at all disappointing with the brightness of presentation and tastes when serving the order. Fish and seafood, for which the group’s restaurants are renowned, remain the most popular dishes, but sometimes even they give way to kebabs, steaks, and smoky kebabs cooked over an open fire. The most spectacular of the three Moscow ones is a two-level veranda-deck on Krasny Oktyabr with a stunning view of the Moscow River, from where you don’t want to leave at all, especially when you are sitting in good company, enjoying food with a well-thought-out wine accompaniment and looking at the shore sparkling with lights.

“Aivani”
The Georgian hospitality of the owner and brand chef Lilia Medzmariashvili is reflected not only in the generous menu, from which you want to order literally everything, but also in the famous veranda on the spacious balcony of Usachevsky Market (“aivani” means “balcony” in Georgian). Fruit trees, living walls of burgundy ivy and grapes, lush hydrangeas in tubs – isn’t it a blooming country garden?
“Riviera”
The neighborhood of Cheryomushki, adjacent to the restaurant, is already considered the quietest area of Moscow, but in the area around the mansion, supposedly located at the junction of two fairly busy streets, such grace spreads, as if you are not in the city at all. There is literally a forest all around, and the veranda itself is surrounded by flowers and living plants. With the arrival of summer, lamb is cooked on the grill here every week, and the smoky aroma of the meat further immerses you in the dacha vibe.
