Anna Bogomolova

Viewers may recognize Anna Bogomolova as keyboardist Angela from the series “Combination” or as the eccentric Polina from “Lada Gold.” A new project featuring the actress is currently airing on KION. In the detective series “Prints,” she plays Rita, a former orphanage resident who, as an adult, becomes the wife of investigator Denis Simonov (Dmitry Chebotarev). Her character’s past is painfully intertwined with the investigation of a series of brutal murders. All roads lead to that very same orphanage—the place where the destinies of several characters were once shaped, including the main character, investigator Yana Knyazeva (Oksana Akinshina).

Ivan Petrosyan

Ivan Petrosyan is a new face of Russian cinema, one you’ll see again and again. He’s confidently entering the field of young actors capable of working at the intersection of social drama and genre cinema. In the series “The Lesson” with Yura Borisov, he played schoolboy Gena, a troubled teenager who embarked on a life of crime. In “Fingers,” the actor takes a noticeable step toward a different type of hero: his Grisha is a young lieutenant just starting his service in the Zarechny police department. Together with senior investigator Denis, played by Dmitry Chebotarev, his character follows the classic trajectory of an “apprentice,” mastering the profession while simultaneously facing the moral compromises that are inevitable in real life.

Yuri Nasonov

Have you probably already seen last year’s romantic hit “You’re Driving Me Crazy” or the thriller “Reservation”? Yuri Nasonov shines in both films, managing to maintain brutality while simultaneously blending tenderness. For example, in “You’re Driving Me Crazy,” the actor plays two roles at once: a macho womanizer on the one hand, and a lovesick Ivanushka the Fool on the other. His character in “Reservation” is just as romantic: a technical genius and jack of all trades, he rushes to the lady of his heart at the first call. The actor’s other notable projects include “Major Grom,” “YUZZZ,” and “The Pack,” and he clearly has more than one streaming hit ahead.

Dasha Kotreleva

Young but rapidly gaining experience, Dasha Kotreleva rose to fame with her role as Nina, the wife of the main character Kostya (Ivan Yankovsky), in the series “Outsource”—for which she had to shave her head. The actress already has a dozen roles to her credit – she has proven herself in the TV series “YUZZZ”, which has become a treasure trove for the younger generation of actors, and in the black-and-white auteur dramedy “Pictures of Friendly Ties”, and in the recent chamber masterpiece “Yura Was Here”. In the latter, Dasha plays a cameo but memorable role of a girlfriend of punk rockers, one of whom, by the way, is played by her husband, actor Kuzma Kotrelev.

Alexander Averin

Alexander Averin’s distinctive appearance allows him to play eccentric, shocking and negative characters, whom the actor himself considers the most profound. His filmography began with the TV series “Nevsky. “The Shadow of the Architect,” where Averin played a thug. Then there was the tough guy Ryzhiy in “Unreality,” the thug Gena in “YUZZZ,” and the gangster Ukhov in “Tunnel.” However, his characters aren’t always as clear-cut as they might seem at first glance: they’re smart and well-mannered, but their environment sculpts their armor. For example, in “Reservation,” the actor plays a high school student nicknamed Shkot, a member of an underground organization whose actions may raise doubts, but are dictated by the desire to act “for the good.”

Gosha Tokayev

The actor began acting in films while still a school student in the 2000s, but only in episodic roles, and after graduating from GITIS, he gradually moved on to more prominent work in both large streaming projects and local auteur projects. For example, the actor made his mark with supporting roles in the film “A Couple from the Future” and the TV series “Lada Gold.” A new stage in his career was marked by his participation in the project “Pictures of Friendly Ties” – a story about theater graduates, thirty-year-old guys and girls trying to find their own path. And most recently, the actor landed his first leading role – in the romantic comedy “Happy When You’re Not,” where he played a duet with Sasha Bortich.

Svyatoslav Rogozhan

The actor’s first notable appearance was in the popular series “Difficult Teens,” where he played one of the wards of a children’s aid center. The project, released in 2019, became a springboard for a whole generation of young actors, including Mila Ershova, Svyatoslav’s on-screen partner and now his wife. The actor subsequently appeared in the series “Against Everyone,” “Fandorin. Azazel,” “I’m Leaving Beautifully,” and “Teenagers in Space,” and recently played the leader of the dance club at the institute where the main character, Olya (again, Mila Ershova), studies in the series “Stand Up on Your Feet.” A new KION series, “Call Vitya!”, is coming soon, in which Rogozhan will play a ghost. The actor, by the way, is often compared to Andrei Burkovsky – they should play relatives.
