Cameron Diaz has opened up about her personal life. She explained that a ten-year break from acting allowed her to focus on motherhood. The 53-year-old actress told the English-language magazine OK! that she doesn’t regret taking a break from acting to devote full time to her family. The actress and her husband, Benji Madden, have two children – six-year-old daughter Raddix and two-year-old son Cardinal.

Cameron returned to the screen last year, playing the lead role in the film Back in Action.

“To be able to continue making films at such a high level with actors like Keanu Reeves is an incredible pleasure for me,” she shared. “I’m glad I took a break and was able to focus on my family and the part of my life that means a lot to me, but I still love my work. This is the best job in the world.

Cameron explained that she really loves being a mother and that motherhood has become the best moment of her life.

I’m just trying to survive, like any other mother, she added ironically.
