Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley are reuniting for a new TV series. Wesley is best known for his role as Stefan Salvatore on The Vampire Diaries, which Dobrev stars in. On Thursday, June 25, Deadline announced that the co-stars will star in and executive produce the upcoming film adaptation of the book You Deserve to Know, which is currently in development at Hulu.
The series, based on the 2025 novel of the same name by Aggie Bloom Thompson, follows three suburban couples who are neighbors and best friends. When one of their husbands is murdered, a shocking series of secrets is revealed, and their friendship crumbles. According to the producers, Nina and Paul will play Gwen and Scott, “two neighbors who find themselves on opposite sides of a murder investigation, which leads them to clash.” The series is being written by Brian Tanen, who worked on the storyline for Grand Hotel, and Unwell and Kapital Entertainment will produce.
