According to Page Six sources midweek, Britney Spears brandished a knife at a California restaurant after completing rehab. According to TMZ insiders, the singer began behaving erratically during dinner with two friends on Wednesday evening. The pop star was “raising her voice, screaming and even barking at times” during the incident at the Blue Dog Tavern in Sherman Oaks.
One of the restaurant’s patrons claimed that Spears, 44, at one point walked past their table with a knife in her hand, raising concerns that she could accidentally hit someone.
The singer also reportedly lit a cigarette near the door, forcing staff to ask her male friend to put it out.
By the end of the evening, Spears’ table looked like a small child had been sitting at it, one of the eyewitnesses.
According to TMZ, after this strange incident, Spears was taken home accompanied by her security.
This is completely exaggerated. Britney was quietly having dinner with her assistant and bodyguard. She was simply telling a story about her dog barking at the neighbors, her rep told Page Six on Thursday, May 14.
The rep also insisted that Spears never put anyone in danger and was simply picking up a knife to cut a hamburger.
