Prince William recently returned to Wales, a place that played a significant role in his life with Kate Middleton. The royal couple lived in Wales for three years before and after their wedding in 2011. On Tuesday, April 28, William visited his place of service, the Royal Air Force base where he served as a search and rescue pilot from 2010 to 2013.
The visit took place the day before the prince and princess celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary.

As part of the base’s 85th anniversary celebrations, the 43-year-old heir to the throne became an honorary guest and visited his place of service.

Kate and William lived near the military base – on the Isle of Anglesey. After their wedding 15 years ago, William and Kate even spent a short honeymoon there before heading off on a longer trip to the Seychelles in May 2011.
