Seven-year-old Prince Archie and five-year-old Princess Lilibet are expected to travel to the UK with their parents in July. Harry’s visit to his homeland has been long planned, as he is scheduled to attend events dedicated to the countdown to the Invictus Games in Birmingham, which will take place from July 10 to 17, 2027.
People insiders report that during the trip, the Sussexes plan to visit the Althorp House estate, Princess Diana’s childhood home in West Northamptonshire, located about an hour’s drive from Birmingham.
The estate’s website states that it will be closed to visitors next month, on July 10 and 11, which has led fans to speculate that Harry and his family may even stay overnight at the family home Spencer.
Diana is buried at Althorp, and as the family’s visit falls shortly after her birthday on July 1, it will be a significant occasion for Harry, Meghan and their children.
Harry has previously stayed at Althorp during his visits to the UK, including in August 2024 when he returned for the funeral of Lord Robert Fellowes.
