According to Page Six insiders, Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, and Emily Blunt each received $12.5 million for their roles in The Devil Wears Prada 2. Streep, according to sources, could have received much more for her role as the iconic Miranda Priestly. However, insiders told Variety that she accepted a lower salary so that her co-stars would receive the same respectable pay. Two sources told the publication that Streep, Hathaway, and Blunt have reached a deal with the sequel’s distributor, 20th Century Studios, which stipulates that all three actresses receive the same salary.

According to Variety, the sequel has already grossed approximately $433 million worldwide since its May 1 release.

Two more sources told the publication that the actors can expect an additional $20 million if the film shows impressive box office receipts.
