Kate Middleton and Prince William have a new addition to their family: the royal couple has adopted a cocker spaniel named Otto. The puppy is the son of another royal dog, Orla. At a recent garden party at Buckingham Palace, Kate shared a little about her pet.

The 44-year-old princess shared that the puppy is already a year old and is very active, for example, he recently “chewed something from the house.”
They need to be kept busy. “The first thing we do in the morning is check to see if one of us has taken Otto for a walk,” Middleton said.
This isn’t Kate and William’s first time raising a dog. Their first pet together was Lupo, a wedding gift from Catherine’s brother, James Middleton. Shortly before Lupo’s death in 2020, William and Kate adopted Orla. Otto officially joined the royal family last month, which the princess announced to guests at an event in the garden of Buckingham Palace.
