The eleventh (and final) film in the popular “Fast and Furious” saga premiered at the 79th Cannes Film Festival yesterday, May 13. The festival premiere served as an opportunity for the film’s longtime cast to reunite on the red carpet for the first time in a long time. As a reminder, the penultimate installment in the franchise was originally scheduled for release in 2023.
The screening was attended by Vin Diesel, Meadow Walker, the only daughter of one of the film’s main stars, the late Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, and others. The film also stars Jason Momoa, who, apparently, was unable to attend Cannes.
It is worth noting that after the death of colleague Paul Walker in a car accident on November 30, 2013, Vin Diesel maintains a warm and trusting relationship with his daughter.
