Filming for the film “Sadko” by Ivan Oganesov has begun in St. Petersburg, featuring a truly stellar cast. It was announced today that the lead roles in the new adaptation will be played by Anton Rogachev (the hussar Sadko) and Anna Peresild (his beloved Lyubava).
Notably, Anna’s co-star in “The Boy’s Word,” Nikita Kologrivy, has also joined the cast. The cast also includes Yuri Stoyanov, Elizaveta Ishchenko, Roman Vasiliev, Kristina Babushkina, Aleksey Dmitriev and other actors.
Special attention in the film will be given to the fairy-tale costumes created by the artist Nadezhda Vasilyeva, who worked on “Ognivot”, “Gorynych” and other high-profile film projects of recent years.
